IT Systems & Process Development Manager

Job Description
This is both a strategic and hands on role that requires flexibility, excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to the delivery of IT solutions across our business. The role holder will be responsible for the day to day leadership of our in-house software development team in addition to the management of our network and hardware requirements. Providing strong project management for the development of our propriety energy management application is a key part of the IT Systems and Process Development Manager role.

The right candidate will be excited about the opportunity to lead an ambitious team of developers, to deliver improved internal and external functionality and drive service improvements as a member of the Trident leadership team.

  • As a member of the Trident Leadership Team, provide a strategic outlook for the role of the IT function
  • Develop the IT strategy for Trident
  • Deliver software development projects from inception to operations roll out, on time and to budget
  • Maintain the CR and SR requirements of the business, providing monthly management information to track progress
  • Provide day to day management of the network infrastructure to include, but not limited to:

Essential

  • Strong team working skills
  • Great communication and interpersonal skill
  • 5 years experience in IT management
  • Experience working with VMWare
  • Software development capability – Microsoft .NET Framework (C#)

Account Manager - Energy Procurement Team
The Role

This role involves building relationships and providing delivery of services to large multi commodity corporate clients in the UK by providing a high quality service and reporting thereof, resulting in a high level of client retention, together with increasing the average revenue per client through cross-selling of Trident Utilities Ltd’s full product range.

  • Meeting KPI’s, retention, revenue, up selling, and client issues
  • Responsible to interface directly with large, sometimes multi site, clients at board room level
  • Responsible to liaise directly with utility suppliers on behalf of Trident clients
  • Co-ordinate multi commodity, corporate clients implementation and ongoing requirements

The Role

This role involves the development of new business relationships and the introduction of a range of energy cost reduction and sustainable energy products to large commercial energy consumers, through pre-appointed meetings with high level executive contacts.

Applicants will be self motivated and performance driven, ideally with some energy industry experience and a track record of consultative sales in the high end corporate environment.

Principle Accountabilities
  • Qualify prospects and generate leads
  • Attend prospect and client meetings to showcase Trident’s services & products
  • Negotiate contracts to generate profitable revenue from sales opportunities
  • Process customer orders and assist with contract mobilisation
  • Keep up to date with product developments
