Northern Ireland & Eire

All Trident Utilities services are applicable in Northern Ireland including the Carbon Trust funded energy surveys.

Utility purchasing has historically been a little more restrictive than on the mainland due primarily to the regulation of energy production as opposed to supply, which has discouraged competition to date.

This situation is set to change in the near future and the opportunity for cost reduction has progressed quite recently.

Trident Utilities are happy to undertake a detailed review of your utility charges and confirm whether cost savings are available. Our fees are based upon the savings that we are able to achieve and if we can find savings we will not make a charge.

Eire

At the present time there is no equivalent to the Carbon Trust scheme in Eire and therefore we are unable to offer any free energy audits at this time. Additionally, Climate Change Levy is not applicable in Eire. It is envisaged that a scheme similar to the Climate Change Levy scheme will be introduced in Eire in the near future.

There is considerable scope for cost reduction through price re-negotiation and despite the fact that the Irish market is less competitive than the UK marke, we achieve cost reductions for the majority of our Irish clients.
